I asked myself in a world where there is so much injustice, pain and fear. How could I make my change and mark my stamp in the world? Maya Angelou said "your legacy is the lives you touch”. So, I decided to use my skills the best way I knew how. I was always successful in education, I would teach my friends and I worked for tutoring companies while studying, so I knew teaching was ‘my thing'. I came to realise education is yours to keep, nothing and no one can take that away from you and that is power. But I didn’t want to be a part of the regular school system, the system that wants everyone to be the same, that doesn’t care about individuality or improving self-confidence. I wanted to give that to people, give them the chance to widen their opportunities in life, so that they could have the tools to make their own stamp in this world.
